road trip!

Its been such a fun, busy summer! Cory, Michelle and the girls came over to camp in the yard for a few days, so we decided to take a few fun day trips together. This trip was to Walton, site of the oldest existing lighthouse in the County! We could go in up to the top and look out over the water. Here, the girls are patiently waiting their turn to go up ...its tight quarters up there so we had to squish in... A few people were waiting for us to come down the ladder after we got up there so down comes Michelle..then Grace...then Emily...Cory, ..Rose...Me..and Kelsey. it was like the clowns coming out of the VW car! Here we are checking out the view through the "view finder". Look at Grace ! She's taking off!
There are trails there to a look off and through the woods...after finding Goldilocks stool we came across this wild stuffed animal in the woods!


After seeing so much of the scenery from afar we decided to get up close to it and after a short drive over bridge we ended up on the beach! Here's Cory enjoying the view, and the girls playing around the rocks and caves.
