Last Saturday, Rose went skating for the first time. Even though she has lived here by this pond her whole life, Sat. was the first time she donned skates on ice. However...within an hour, after me holding her, then her practicing with the old rickety chair, she was skating just holding my hand... What a natural! Today was the 100th day of school, (and our valentine party..hence the red clothes)...so we celebrated with 1oo exercises, songs, games, centres, activites, and a relay race to see who could pin 100 clothes pins on their teacher first.
My group didn't win.
They spent too much time deciding where to pin each clothespin....you can't tell here but my pony tail is riddled with pins.

Wow... I always assume Canadians have more school days than us, but we had our 100th day almost 2 weeks ago. We didn't, however, play 100 games, nor sing 100 songs, nor do 100 exercises. It all sounds too energetic for me!
(I know, that's not what you meant... but it's funny the way it sounds!)

Today's word verification describes that whole clothespin game perfectly: whonical! Well done on the ice Rose!
